About the Role:
As the Men's Grill Supervisor/Team Lead, you'll oversee daily dining and beverage operations and ensure an exceptional experience for our members and guests in the Men's Grille. Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, you'll work closely with the leadership team to elevate service standards, strengthen team culture, and deliver excellence in every interaction while supervising the Men's Grille Room.
This position combines hands-on management with attentive bar and food service — ensuring our members and guests enjoy a comfortable, professional, and personalized environment.

- Full Time Position
- Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by Club operations.
- Salaried position with cash tips
- RAMP Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods
- Team oriented staff and operation that allows for efficiency and expedience.
- Golf-centric area that works closely with multiple club operations including golf, locker room, a la carte dining, and catering.
- Consistent scheduling and daily routine; multiple special events throughout the season.
- A casual dining outlet that provides golf members and guests with exceptional and expedient food and drinks before or after rounds, during special events or those just looking to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy!
- Men's Locker Room: Large and unique, the men's locker room is expected to be well kept, clean and convenient for our membership. We provide amenities and services to our membership to ensure they have a positive experience while golfing at SHGC, their home away from home. Whether enjoying a relaxing beverage, working on business, or playing a game of cards with the guys, the locker room serves as a safe haven for our golf members.
- 1-2 Years restaurant or private club supervisory experience
- Proven leadership and team development skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to providing genuine hospitality.
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Jonas Point of Sale (POS) software knowledge preferred but not required.
- Lead by example through visible presence on the restaurant floor-coaching, engaging, and supporting team members.
- Deliver and model exceptional hospitality, setting the tone for service excellence.
- Provide ongoing training, feedback, and performance coaching.
- Ensure consistent execution of systems, standards, and processes to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Work closely with multiple teams and teammates to fulfill and exceed member expectations.
- Follow procedures and protocols to ensure the entire team is set up to succeed in providing great experiences to our members.
- Consistently display positive and helpful attitude to assist golfers utilizing the Men's Grill.
- Display complete and comprehensive knowledge of the club, golf, and food and beverage operations as a whole.
- Follow and enforce daily opening/closing procedures, complete daily checklists, and execute day-to-day operations relatively independently.
- Guarantee all areas are member-ready at all times.
- Become familiar with members' names and greet them accordingly in a manner to provide a warm welcome that will make them feel right at home.
- Assist fellow team members to provide unique, personalized service that cannot be found anywhere else!
- Have the ability to assist in other areas and the willingness to learn in order to serve our members the best ways we can.
